Vonna Jean Mary Buuck, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Kingston Care Center. She was born August 20, 1925 in Fort Wayne to the late Homer and Pearl (Goodpasture) Maddux. She worked as a secretary and accountant for Wolf & Dessauer Department Store. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, where she and her husband had been active members for many years. Surviving are her sons, Douglas (Sally) Buuck of Punta Gorda, Florida and David (Sydney) Buuck of Prunedale, California; four grandchildren, Philip (Hilary), David (Amy), Laura, and Scotty; and great granddaughters, Phoebe Joy and Pearl Lillian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Frederick A. Buuck. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 3 PM at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or the Allen County SPCA.
